CLINIC CARE FOR YOUR FAMILY

Pediatric feeding therapy in Crawford County

When feeding feels difficult, it can affect more than mealtimes. You may be wondering how to introduce new foods, why your child struggles with certain textures, or how to help them build the skills to eat and drink.

Flourish Occupational Therapy offers clinic appointments for infants and young children in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Lacey Stoner, OTR/L, IBCLC, works with families on feeding concerns, with care shaped around the child’s needs and everyday routines.

Feeding concerns we can work on

Your child’s needs may change as they move from milk feeds to solid foods and family meals. Areas of support include:

  • Bottle feeding challenges and feeding skill development
  • Introducing purees and other solid foods
  • Exploring food textures and working with sensory preferences
  • Learning to use a cup and developing self-feeding skills
  • Limited food variety and challenging toddler mealtimes

Support that considers the whole feeding routine

Feeding involves skills, sensory experiences, and the routines around each meal. Occupational therapy considers how these pieces fit together for your child and family. The goal is to identify meaningful areas to work on and practical ways to support feeding development.

You know your child’s preferences and the parts of the day that feel hardest. Those observations help shape the goals you discuss with Lacey.
